An investigation of eco-melodism: cultural transformations brought about by the fusion of environment and music
Focusing on the emerging cultural phenomenon of eco-melodism, this study aims to identify how the connection between the environment and music is culturally transformative. Focusing on unique musical practices and environmental approaches in ecomelodism cultures, multiple research methods were combined to understand their impact.
Phenomenon Identification:.
A unique phenomenon was observed in eco-melodism culture, where environmentalism and music are combined to create a new art form. In this culture, natural and environmental sounds are used to create music, and artists and communities play an active role in raising environmental awareness through the creation and performance of music.
Research Methods:.
The research focused on case studies in several artists and communities that represent eco-melodism culture. By interviewing artists, observing live performances, and participating in environmental projects, we explored how the fusion of music and the environment creates new art forms and environmental engagement. Environmental psychology methods were also employed to quantitatively assess the impact of music on environmental awareness and attitudes.
